My personal philosophy is to always allow the freedom of disagreement and discourse on any given post. At the same time, I do not believe in Ad-Hominem attack comments that distract from the overall discussion. Therefore, I do have a short list of community guidelines that will be enforced on my blog accordingly.
- Question the Argument, Not the Individual.
- Any type of comment that is not a criticism, but a personal attack on myself or others will be removed from the site.
- Comments that contain any personal information (links to personal accounts, Addresses, Doxxing, etc) will always be removed.
- Absolutely No Racism, Harrasment, Stalking, or Threats. These comments will never be tolerated in ANY form.
- Fostering a Proper Discussion Environment
- Spam is never allowed in the comments. This includes copy-pastas, links, advertisements, etc.
- Limit comments to a minimum, rather than making multiple separate comments
- Respond to the proper comment thread accordingly when making a comment.
- Links within a comment must have a relevant reason. Random comment links will always be removed.
- Image posting and Videos within comments are simply not allowed. Links to these sources are fine if directly relevant to the discussion or a point that is being made.
- The Obvious, but needs to be stated.
- Impersonating others will never be tolerated
- Any comment made to be deliberately misleading will be removed
- Any sort of unlawful activity will always be removed and reported accordingly
I plan on moderating my blog as often as I can, but sometimes rule violations can fall through the cracks. Therefore, I encourage anyone who wants to report any rule violations to email me and I’ll take action ASAP.
